Getting Started
Will I need to provide my own equipment?
No, you will not need to provide any equipment. All equipment necessary for your devices to access the internet is pre-installed.
What is going to happen during the installation?
The Internet Subway crew may need to route a new fiber optic cable to your living room, opening a section of your wall to mount a media enclosure, then activating multi-gigabit wired Ethernet ports and optimized Wi-Fi.
How long will technicians be in my apartment?
Most installations wrap up in under forty-five minutes. Our technicians are trained to proceed fast and efficiently. Before entering any home, internet connectivity is verified outside of the home so that our time inside is minimized.
How do I setup my Wi-Fi network?
When you signed your lease or when the service in your unit goes live, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up your Wi-Fi name and password. The email will be sent to the primary email used on your lease.
Can I change my Wi-Fi network name or password?
Yes. On myinternetsubway.com, you can change your Wi-Fi network name and password. The changes may take 5-10 minutes after being applied to fully update.
What speeds should I expect?
There are many factors that play into real-world internet speeds such as wired and wireless connections, interference from other devices and walls, and the capabilities of the devices connecting to the internet.
That being said, we deliver 10 Gbps download and 10 Gbps upload to every apartment. Your in-unit equipment is configured to provide 1Gbps (up and down) to every wired Ethernet jack.
How do I upgrade to faster speeds?
Login to myinternetsubway.com, configure billing, and then toggle the slider to instantly upgrade from the MONO base plan to EXPRESS, TURBO, or LIGHTSPEED.
- MONO = 1Gbps download / 1Gbps upload speed
- EXPRESS = 2.5Gbps download / 2.5Gbps upload speed
- TURBO = 5Gbps download / 5Gbps upload speed

What payment methods can I use?
Currently Internet Subway accepts debit and credit cards, as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Is there a data cap on my internet service?
No. There is never a bandwidth cap on your internet service.
Can I purchase a public static IP address?
Yes. This can be purchased for $25/m through the myinternetsubway.com portal.
Do you offer TV service?
